I too was ripped off by Angel Stevens. I eventually got my money back after DAILY emails. Here's what happened:
After signing up, I saw the first week of training (it's a 7-week course, although they tell you what stuff you can do to start making money right away) and realized it's not what I want to do - I have too much of a conscience to contribute to the advertising overload on the internet. I first sent an email to them requesting a refund. Their response was to ask me to continue with the training and give it a chance. I responded saying no, this isn't what I want to be doing, give me that refund. They sent me a second email basically saying "are you sure?" and again urging me to finish the training, reminding me I have 3 months to try it out, and pleading for me to just give it a chance. I went through this a couple times and realized I was getting form letters - in other words, it was a pre-written copied-and-pasted email! After the second repeat, I finally responded with a direct threat: give me my refund or I will contact the office of Andrew Cuomo, the NY State Attorney General (Angel Stevens' "office" is located in Brooklyn, NY). A day later after yet another repeat I finally decided I'd had enough and called the 800 number, stated in no uncertain terms that I want my refund, and again threatened to report them to the Attorney General's office (it helps to mention Andrew Cuomo by name) if I did not see that refund credited to my account by the end of the week.
In closing, here is how I recommend you handle Angel Stevens if you have been taken by her: don't ask for a refund, demand it. If they hem and haw about it, give them a very clear threatening ultimatum that you will report them to Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's office if you do not see the $197.00 credited back to your account by the end of the week. If this doesn't work, this is the Attorney General's website: http://www.oag. State. Ny.Us / That will give you all the information you need to back up your threat with real action! Good luck.
