Like several other people who have reported the same experience, I signed up for the 7 day deal with Go Freelance at US$2.95. After paying my $2.95 (actually about Aus $3.20) with PayPal and registering I never received a confirmation email. I went to the www.freelance.com website and tried to log on. I got a message saying that my password was incorrect. I tried using my email address to receive my logon information and I was told my email address was unregistered.
I emailed the address they had given for password problems, but the message bounced saying that the mailbox was full. I emailed their support people several times, but have never received a reply.
But when I looked at my Paypal statement, they had taken my money. I emailed and asked for my money back but never received any reply nor my money back. I am very glad I only paid $2.95 to these unscrupulous rip-off merchants. They continue to bombard me with spam but gave me nothing for my money.
Do not be fooled. Their promises of honest work are very seductive, but these messages are just a ploy to take your money.
