So, the other day I was going to sell my World of Warcraft gold as I usually do. I sent a message to all my MSN contacts that buy/sell gold: "Looking to sell 8000 WoW gold on [server/side] at $13 per k". I quickly got two responses, but apparently I chose the wrong one.
This company's goldbuying contact goes by the name [email protected], but if you do a Yahoo! Search, you will find that this address leads to the EX-gametradeking.com. Apparently they changed their name to wow-gold-cheap.Us to make scamming easier.
Anywho, back to MSN... I got the reply and decided to sell my gold to them. They wanted all 8,000 gold. We agree on meeting in-game and having payment sent thru PayPal. Well, I delivered the 8,000 gold (about a week and a half's worth of work) and never got payment. It's been five days now and the MSN contact hasn't even logged on. I went to check gametradeking.com, and it turns out it no longer exists (like I said, they changed their name to wow-gold-cheap.Us, even tho they're clearly not US based).
If you or someone you know plays World of Warcraft and buys or sells gold, STAY AWAY from these people. They scam people out of their gold, and sell it for ridiculously high prices... Who knows, they might not even deliver the gold if you buy it as far as i know.
Remember: GameTradeKing.com, AllGameTrade.com, and wow-gold-cheap.Us are all the SAME people. They will scam you like they scammed me. STAY AWAY from them.
