I started auto insurance with this infinity/top value insurance about 1 1/2 years ago. Since day one, I was in their office for about 3 hours. They charged me a down payment and said my payments would be $51.00 monthly. I went in to make a payment, they charged me $15.00 to pay in person. So then I mailed in my payments in, (the company was two blocks away.) The last few months I paid online through my bank account.
I received statements, every month, stating a different amount, a higher amount, always. When I made my last payment, I called the main office and asked them if this was my last payment, they said yes.
After I made my last payment they decided to sue me and say that I canceled my insurance with them.in actuality they canceled me. My full year term was finished. When I called and talked to Carolina, Manager, she said I owe $100.00 plus and that I called and canceled. That is ridiculous. I told her I have been very disappointed with this company since day one. We hung up, two days later, I received a letter saying I owed them $75.85. Today I received a notice saying if I go on line they will discount what I owe to $68. What can I do about this?
