My website is down right now. It has been down since 9:30am. This is becoming a bi weekly occurrence.
CityMax is the worst company I have ever done business with. Worst ever. Period. Once you design and post your website and find out how bad their service is, they refuse to let you take it with you, meaning you would have to start from scratch. It's their way of hooking you. However I talked to a computer expert and he will copy the site so I can take it over to a server than charges $5.99 per month and according to reports has minimal downtime.
$5.99 month.By contrast CityMax charges $20.00 month. For $20.00/month CityMax logo should read "Expensive Prices Cheap Service".
My website goes down ALL THE TIME. Always during the day. During peak business hours. Do these people ever do maintenance at night like everyone else?
Their customer service is ATROCIOUS. Horrible. Worst ever. For $20.00 month.
By contrast the company that charges $5.99 has LIVE HELP. You call and guess what? They pick up the phone! In contrast it is CityMax POLICEY to REFUSE to take phone calls from their customers! They will ONLY allow you to communicate through email and they take 6-24hours to get back! In addition I have goggled myself several times. I click on my company and guess what? The site takes forever to load. More than 5 seconds on the clock. Research PROVES that when customers click on your website and it takes more than 5 seconds on the clock 75% of said potential customers X OUT or CLICK OFF your website. A fast loading website is the MOST IMPORTANT thing to have! This has happened many times! Each time I complain to CityMax and tell them they say "well we don't see anything wrong on our end" and "your website is loading just fine on our end" they then PROCEED TO BLAME MY INTERNET CONNECTION. Little do they know I have a ROAD RUNNER high speed T1 internet cable!!! The fastest internet connection money can buy. If it is this slow with a T1 what is it like with a normal connection? Or since I'm in International business what about dial up (Poorer nations are still on dial up).
Imagine all the positional business you are losing!!!
Slow loading websites and non access to emails are unacceptable. Business today does not work like this. As small business owners it is very hard for us to get and keep customers. No matter what you business in todays business environment customers demand allot from you. And when your website is down - YOUR EMAIL IS DOWN and clients are calling and complaining.in addition clients have sent me email and when CityMax does get the site back up the emails are LOST.
Me: I'm sorry sir our email has been down all day
Client: I emailed it to you!
Me: I'm sorry sir I never received it. Could you please resend it?
Client: Grr..
This is the NORM with CITYMAX. I was ignorant and did not do my homework when I signed up for them and created my website but now I am in the process of transferring over.
So unless you want and expensive prices and the cheapest service CITYMAX is for you.!
