These people were taped by our audio/video home security system while they were standing on their property next door to me. They did not live there and they were yelling and engaging in actions that they were clearly not trying to protect from the public and anyone passing on the public roadway could see and hear anything that was captured on the video. They were charged in court as a result of the some of the tapes and of course they deny everything they are charged with, saying we are liars and just harassing them because they are poor. They swear there are no tapes of them doing the things that are on the recordings.
I would like to post the tapes on the internet to shut them up and prove to others that there are tapes and that they did do the things that we say they did. However, I am afraid of the ramifications. Would I be violating their rights in anyway since I will not have their permission to post images of them and because they were on their property when they were taped? They clearly knew the camera was there, as one of the videos I am talking about is them trying to destroy the camera!
