Our computer would not work. Contacted Elite Computer Repair. Nice guy (in the beginning). Said that he "repaired" computer. Got computer home... ($100.00) Computer then has SAME ISSUE AGAIN.
Contacted Pete Loscalzo (Elite Computer Repair) again... (did not return phone call or emails for 3 days)... Took computer to Pete Loscalzo (2nd time)... He said that he "repaired" computer by adding more memory. Gave us an invoice that stated a 60 day "warranty" and stated that the memory was brand new ($100.00).
Within 2 weeks (still in "Warranty" period)... Computer has the exact same issue. Contacted Pete Loscalzo AGAIN... Again... Took 4 days to return phone calls and emails. According to Pete, his wife had their baby VERY premature, therefore, the delay. Pete promised to meet me to pick up computer... NEVER showed up! Blamed that wife was having baby (yeah, right).
I emailed him to tell him to forget it and to refund my "warranty." Got an email from Pete calling me a "lunatic" and that his wife is pregnant and therefore, the delays... Obviously, lying about his pregnant wife... She never has a premature baby... (Pretty sad to use your kids and wife as an excuse for lying).
I have had a different repair man fix our computer... And... Guess what? The memory replaced is over 3 years old and is used! Therefore... We were deceived by Elite Computer Repair.
I have filed a report w / the BBB... Please note... He has MANY complaints against him... Since then... Pete Loscalzo has "called the police" because I have been "harassing" him... Please note... I have only demanded that my warranty money be returned (I have all the written emails).
This guy is a "one man shop" operating out of an apartment. He is dishonest and will do anything to take your money.
Please just stay away from this company. Do your research. There are honest, hard-working people out there and this guy gives "small business" and REALLY BAD NAME. Please just stay away.
