Registered members get messages that are supposedly from other members, but if you reply (which is only available to paying members), you will probably receive a vague reply that addresses little or nothing of what was in your message back to "her." By "her" second message to you, if not before, there will probably be a suggestion to contact "her" off-site at such-and-such email address, or to check her Web page, at another host. You can waste more money by joining up there, too, but I hope you won't get to that point.
Messages you send to "members" that you searched for and were interested in will probably not receive a reply. I suspect but haven't yet proven that those profiles might have been copied-and-pasted from other sites, including photos, just to add some "believability" to their operation.
Paytech also shows an address in Great Bookham, Surrey.
In short, if the site is "[Something] Date Link, " and you see " and Owned and Operated by Paytech B.V." at the bottom of the page, you might not want to go there.
