These cons from Bank Card Empire tried to scam me too. Sorry, I have been selling over the Internet since 1989 and have already heard everything from the milk fund to my grandfather's money.
They did the one guy calls, listen to the absurd tape and then the closer comes on the line for the TODAY ONLY deal. When I told him I wanted to research it, he hung up. He had given me the 877 number as THE DIRECT LINE TO ME ANY TIME YOU NEED HELP. They answered, Customer service. No company name. I left a message distinctively telling the guy to call me TOMORROW. He called 20 times today. I finally answered and asked him the name of his company and where I could look to find information about his program. He directed me to www.bankcardempire.com. It does not say the same thing on his web site as he said on the phone, I simply told him I was broke and destitute so he wouldn't call me again.
I suggest if he calls you, tell him it is the wrong number.
