Upon completing a routine check of my email, I received a pop-up pertaining to viruses on my computer. Knowing that I did not have any anti-virus software on my computer, I made the mistake of engaging in a business transaction with what I thought to be a legitimate company. I was under the impression that I was was paying $45.95 for the product.
However, after receiving the invoice, I noticed additional charges of products that are sold with the product. I immediately attempted several times to contact the company's Billing number and was unsuccessful. Every time I called, it was claimed that there was a wait time of 5 minutes and 26 seconds. I also then called the Tech Support and was met with the same situation.
I then emailed the website that was provided concerning receiving a refund of my money. I received what I thought was a legitimate email but was advertising the features of the product. I finally called the Tech Support again and finally got through. After speaking with a service representative, named Cathy, she assured me that she would send me an email with steps of how to retrieve my refund. I never received any such email, and after throughly researching this company I found many websites explaining how to remove this program from their computer.
I did further insight and saw that this company like many others are adware and viruses, and a scam to get money with false claims to remove such infections from computers. Although $110.95 might seem like a minute amount of money to some, I am seeking recourse about retrieving a full refund.
Please stay away from these companies. They will take your money and you will never hear from them again!!!
