It is no secret that netwinner really did a number on hundreds and hundreds of members who'd spent months playing the game, wathing the streaming advertising that was paying netwinners mortgages. We all know that theydecided they were somehow above the law and had no moral compass when they ignored their terms of service and left their members sitting for months on end waiting for their "prizes" to be redeemed. Yes we had all gotten notified that our e-count mastercards were being processed and would be forthcoming; then yes magically one day the terms of service changed without notive to say that there would be a 90 waiting period.
Still, we waited. And played while watching their points decrease (meaning we were watching their advertising streams for hours and hours for a possible 50 cents worth of "prize"). When they finally pulled the bait and switch, deciding to pay nobody, with the explanation that they had to combat "all the fraudulent use of their site" and that people were using their site to "earn" money. Well the only fraud was that they had promised to pay and they weren't; as far as using their site to earn, well watching advertising for 4 hours for 50cents is not much of a job.
Here is my point. I filed through the bbb. Their response was that they would be paying me but that it would take awhile. That was a day before they did their big "point conversion so we don't have to pay anyone ploy." The bbb asked if that solution would be ok for me. I said NO, because they had removed the prize pending from my account page and had posted a message that they would be paying nobody. The bbb kept the file open and asked netwinner for another response. NOW, and this isjust 2 days ago, they told the bbb and me... That they will pay me but it will take them a few weeks. I think it is pretty bullish for them to think ANYONE would believe a word they say at this point.
