Using only my first name (which I have never done), the sales person perpetuated this despite frequent attempts by me to correct it. She could not vary from her "script."
I had a few questions, but she continued with her script or went back a few lines to restart.
When she said my card was "rejected" for 99 cents, I said I had been in the bank this morning. I knew exactly what my balance was. She persisted several times the "bank is wrong." Calling the bank after we hung up, I was right.
Calling Customer Service, the only phone number I was given, I was told they could not speak to me until I had an account. Neither could they say if there was another phone number I could call and have an account verified.
I finally gave the agent my name and the name of the person I had spoken to. The sales person plans to call me tomorrow, but I have nothing to say, which I repeated several times to Customer. I have sent an e-mail to them to this effect.
It is sad that this company can blame eberyone else, accepting there just might be some responsibility on their part.
I am quite concerned they have my credit card number and am seriously considering getting a new one.
