False advertising - breaking Federal Fair Trade statutes - "Unlimited internet" is blocked

Comcast Cable charges us over $50/month for "unlimited internet access." They in fact blocked our outgoing email transmissions on Tuesday April 1.

We spent two days diagnosing the failure, during which time Comcast support told us "we don't block any access" and, when we told them to send repair out, they said "if your comcast email address works, you will be charged a $34 service call fee." We said "You are blocking all outbound email transmission" and the support person said "We only guarantee your comcast email address will work."

Comcast is (1) falsely advertising "unlimited internet access" and is in fact blocking hundreds of thousands of customers from email sending.

Comcast is (2) breaking federal statutes prohibiting false advertising and misrepresentation. Comcast is violating federal Fair Trade and Truth in Advertising laws.

This is worthy of a class action lawsuit and you may contact me to join. I will be reporting this to the TN Attorney General, Mayor of Nashville TN, the TN Consumer Affairs Division, and US Attorney General.

Join with me.
