We ordered an appliance from oneclickappliances in January. They seemed to be selling at about $100.00 cheaper that we could get the appliance anywhere else. They charged our credit card immediately. That should have been a tip-off! They promised delivery within two weeks, so we ordered. About a month later, after not hearing anything we contacted them and they told us that their supplier had received a large request for this appliance so there would be another delay of about 10 days until our order shipped. Then over two months after they collected their (MY!) money they told us that they were canceling the order and refunding our money. Only there was a problem with their processing company and certain refunds issued on the same day as ours was never went out. Then we were told that they were working on having this fixed but if we wanted to expedite the process we should contact our credit card company and ask them to have the money backcharged to them. They even gave us a transaction code for the refund.
From reading elsewhere on the internet it seems that we are one of MANY people that has been duped by oneclickappliances. Looks like the same MO... You place an order at a price that is under everyone else's prices but not so far under that it looks unreal and then you don't hear from them again. When you contact them they stall you for a few months and then they cancel your order but somehow have a problem refunding your money.
Any attorneys general out there that need some info I'd be happy to help. This is definitely a scam, even if they do refund my $ since they had the use of it for several months and I doubt they can prove that they ever ordered the appliance to begin with. I 'd bet that they never deliver. Hope someone catches up with them.
