Creditreport.com is a ripoff. If you are simply seeking to buy a copy of your credit report, do not use creditreport.com. I pulled my credit report at the beginning of this year and when I recently checked my checking account I found that creditreport.com has been charging me $11.95/mo. For "monitoring" my credit report. I did not have to sign up separately for this "service". It is a requirement that you sign up for this RIDICULOUS "service" in order to pay them $19.95 for your credit report. Unfortunately they do not advise you (except in fine print) that you are required to un-enroll in this service if you do not wish to be billed $11.95/mo. $11.95 per month for what I say?!?! Nothing, your credit card is billed for no real purpose whatsoever. If creditreport.com wanted to sign you up for this "service", why not ask if you would like this as a provided, paid for service? Huh? Because they are trying to be sneaky about it by including it in the fine print that most of us do not read word for word. When I contacted them at 1-800-720-4420 (in case you'd like to give them a piece of your mind), they told me they would not refund my charges. They said I "agreed" to this service somewhere on their website. This is fraud and should NOT be stood for.
