In November, I bought 2-license Folder Vault software, which the company states includes lifetime support and lifetime upgrades. I installed the program on 2 computers. One of the computers died and was replaced under warranty, and I need a new license code for the new machine. I have been calling and emailing Gear Box Computers for 2 weeks and they do not answer the phone or respond to email. Their "Live Chat" feature on their website is "unavailable".
In their website's Forums, I do not see any posting from the company in the past month.
In December, I had some problems with the software and received good and fast support. Now, I wonder if they are even in business any more?
I am now stuck with a product I've paid for but no way to run it on my new computer.
I would advise not to buy anything from them unless you can manage to contact someone at the company first.
