I purchased a HP Pavilion a530n and paid for an extended warranty only to find out that their tech support is useless, could hardly understand the people providing support, given wrong information! The computer will not accept Microsoft Service Pack 2 upgrade which was released at the same time the computer was purchased but was not preloaded. I was told that the HP COMPUTERS are only GUARANTEED to RUN on their installed PROPRIETARY software which is pre-installed!!! Ugrade at your own risk!!! Talked to their highest level of customer service, the person I spoke with "JAMES" (if that is his real name) and even talked to the corporate HQ, Mark Hurd's assistant who basically said "SORRY"! As a result, I have a computer still under a paid extended warranty that I cannot upgrade any Microsoft software becuase I don't have SP2 installed. I own four other HP computers, three HP cameras and I will NEVER, EVER buy another HP product again!!! BE SMART, don't buy HP!!!
