After a few months on business travel overseas, I checked my credit card to find that I had regular un-authorized charges from a company listed as "Ap9*24 ProtectPlus-v" for $14.95 each.
I contacted the company using the 800 number listed, and the lady told me that when I used INTELLIUS some months before, that I must have checked a box authorizing ProtectPlus to charge my card for some unspecified services.
I told her that I was not aware of these charges and had never authorized them, an I wanted a full refund for ALL 4 monthly charges. She informed me that she would stop billing my credit card, and immediately refund ALL the charges.
One charge was refunded only.
Further attempts to reach ProtectPlus are not possible because the automated system will not allow me access to the customer service reps because my account has now been closed.
What a ripoff. Unauthorized charges, and no full refund.
And how did they get my CCard info and start this unauthorized series of charges? THROUGH INTELLIUS
