Wow, I really wish I would have read these postings before I made my purchase back in September.
I know it has been almost 1 1/2 years ago, but I just had to post and agree with everyone here and to say that I am truely sorry that you got scammed too!
I called in my order to them and spoke with a really nice lady. I ordered on 9/16/06.
I purchased the "50 DVD's" that should have be "Fresh Hot Titles from Hollywood!", etc...
I also purchased 5 Potluck Boxes (6th one FREE!) because they advertised that these boxes were an assortment of things.
And I quote: "... You might get Gem Rings, Toys, Watches, Novelty Items, Leather Items, Jewelry, or As Seen On TV Products! You might get Sleeping Bags, Tents, or hair Goods! You might ge a Gem Necklace... Who Knows! Cases upon cases of CLEAN Wholesale product! These are not returns or salvage! All merchandise is new! Who knows what's in each lot, but you will get a great deal in each Potluck lot as each lot will be packed way below retail!.."
On 9/22 I received my DVD's & 9/25, I received my Potluck boxes. I was happy that it had arrived pretty quickly!
Well... Let me tell you what I got:
DVD's = They were all OLD junk movies and a ton of duplicates.
Potluck Boxes:
In Box #1... Sling Packs. Pink ones and Black ones. Each one wrapped in a plastic bag with a price tag of $49.95... (Sell on eBay for about $5).
Ok. Now Box #2... Sling Packs. Pink ones and Black ones... Hhhmmmm...
Ok. Now Box #3... Sling Packs. Pink ones and Black ones... What the H*%L!
Ok... Now Box #4... You got it right! MORE SLING PACKS!
ALL 6 BOXES contained the same damn thing!
So much for an "Assortment of great wholesale items!"
So, I call them and spoke with a really nice lady again. She said that I needed to fill out a Customer Service Ticket on-line.
So I did. (Ticket ID DNG-141694)
I explained everything in an EXTREMELY NICE manner, asking for their help. I copy and pasted their description of the movies and Potluck boxes and asked how it could be possible that when they pull randomly from the warehouse (which is what she told me on the phone) how could I end up with 6 boxes all containing the same thing... NO ASSORTMENT.
I closed with "Is there ANYTHIG you can do to make this right? More like what you were advertising on your website? Again, Please Help! What can we do to resolve this? Thank you so much for your attention to this matter"
They responded via email saying that there was nothing they could do, it was EXACTLY as described. I could return them at MY EXPENSE and pay a 30% restocking fee.
I then called and talked with a nice lady and she said that there was nothing that she could do about it, I needed to fill out the form online...
I emailed about 6 or 7 more times trying to work something out... I then chalked it up to a loss and me being scammed.
I cried when I told my husband about it because it took me 2 weeks to talk him into letting me do this in the first place. I am originally from Washington State (No longer live there) and were located right across the Columbia River from where he is located. I guess I just felt a sence of security by ordering from "close to home". (yes, that was a stupid thought!) LOL
Well, never again!
I haven't ordered anything "Wholesale" since, and don't plan to any time soon!
