Credit Card Fraud - charged for a product I did NOT order!

It appears to be a pattern with this company. My bank card number was stolen a few months ago and used to purchase some so-called 'trial' product from Rising Star Learning, some program for kids. I don't have any kids, and there are none in my family who would use such a product either (all too old). I called the bank just hours after these fraudulent charges were made on my card and had my card cancelled. The bank suggested I call the companies involved, which I did. I called Rising Star Learning around 10am (the fraudulent order was placed in the middle of the night!) and informed them of the theft of my credit card and the fraudulent order placed with their company. They told me they couldn't stop it, the product had already been shipped!!! The shipping of $4.87 had already hit my bank card. NONE of the other companies that I contacted gave me any grief and were more than happy to cancel orders that were placed on my stolen card.

The "overnight genius' thing did arrive at my door about a week later (stupid thief failed to change the shipping address!). I gave it back to the post office the very next morning, marked up with 'return, refused, fraudulent order', the post office took it away. The package was NOT in any kind of shipping box, it looked like a video tape with a cheesy label slapped on it.

Now, I've been going back and forth with them thru the BBB for weeks. First they accused ME of being the thief by saying that because the order was placed using my correct address and the criminal had the card 'security code' then they considered that I placed the order! They also claimed they had the IP address of the person who did order the product. It took 2 weeks to get it, but that IP proved that I did NOT order anything. However, they absolutely refuse to refund the shipping charges AND they claim they have not received the product as returned.

Based on what I'm reading here, that could very well be a lie. Sounds like this is a shady operation and I"m going to file a complaint with the FTC. It's not about the $4.87 any more, it's about their business practices, which are questionable, and being called a thief and a liar by this company.
