Unauthorized use of screenname and email address victimized many consumers

For the past week, I have been receiving HUNDREDS of emails as a result of what this company or one of it's employees did. They created an email address that automatically re-routed all incoming emails to a mailing list that was comprised of all AOL users - none of whom had consented to being included on this list.

When anyone tried to respond to the address in the "TO" bar, the letter went out to everyone on the mailing list as being from the AOL user. It's been over a week and I am still dealing with the fallout from this event. I have received no explanation or apology from either this company or from AOL. I've had it. It's about time that someone held individuals and businesses accountable for fraudulent use of the internet, email addresses and mailing lists.
