Worst service in the industry maybe in the world

Lets see where do I start? First off I had been told by various verizon people on the phone previously that I could not get DSL without a home phone, a friend had told me that that was not true that I copuld get a direct hookup cheaper. After calling the 1st 2 lady'sI spoke to neither wanted to tell me that I could do this but one lady finally told me I can do this! This would be 31.99 per month instead of 28.99 for a monthly phone and 17.99 for DSL so a better deal! Anywho I told when I was signing up that I had had DSL at another place before and still had the modem soo no need to send me one. Well after the 1st couple days my DSL would go in and out of signal booting me offline frequently so they sent a tech who said it was the modem and to call and they will send me new one, so I did and the nice indian gentleman named "Bob" said I would be charged and there was nothing he could do, I explained that they did not send me one when I activated my service because I had one and he admitted that they do send everyone a modem to start their service for no charge he still said there was nothing he could do so I asked for his supervisor and she finally agreed with me after many explanations and said there would be no charge, even got on a 3way with me and billing to make sure I dont get charged even upgraded me to a wireless router! This came in no time at all and even the invoice in the bos said $0.00 owed! Imagine my suprise a few weeks before christmas when my debit card is wacked for 128.00 when it was supposed to be 31.99! When I called they said there was no record of me supposing to get a free modem? I was alil pissed and they sent me a shipping label and I sent it back! I was told I would recieve a check whithin 30 days after they recieve it and that there was no way to creit my card in which they took it so I wouldnt recieve it till after xmas! If only that were true! I called on Dec18 and they said it recieved dec 6 and they check was on the way give it 30 days! Well when I called this past friday (1/11) to inquire I was told I was never givin a credit and that it would be credited back to my card within 24hrs and recieved a conf #!! I was pissed cuz I was told this wasnt possible! But happy I was getting or so I thought! That was "Bob" or Mr. Kataria. When I call today (1/14) I am told by an indian lady that they do not issue credits that way and it would take 3 billing cycles to get it! I snapped on this poor woman and asked for her supervisor after 15 min on hold (iniitial wait was 19min) She came back on and said "she" spoke to her supervisor and I would be credited on my card within 3 business days! I told her to put it on the "blue guys" acct! That will be me holding my breath!
