Since moving to Maryland, I have had or tried to have cable and internet service from Comcast.in the first 8 weeks, I had "service" sent out to fix ongoing problems. Each time prior to the service visit I spent no less than 45 minutes waiting to speak to a human being. If I was very lucky, I actually spoke to a person that had adequate command of the English language. The equipment has broken down so many times I cannot waste anymore time for them to replace some of the equipment. Example: Digital box for my bedroom stopped working. As it had taken over 2 weeks to get the faulty livingroom digital box replaced, I just gave up on it. The employees tend to either be frustrated deue to the great number of complaints or downright rude. One employee told me she has Direct TV. I have had cable service in Michigan, Nevada and Florida and never had the problems I have had with Comcast. Oh yes my phone has never really functioned continuously for over 3 days. If you think I am exaggerating, just call Comcast but be prepared to wait for an hour or two.
