I signed up for Frontier Phone Service about 1 1/2 months ago. They promised me $39.99/ month, no contract and a $20 connection fee. Everything is in recording. I got the first bill and found out that it was $39.99 with a 12 month contract and a $50 connection fee. The amazing thing is they listened to the recording and verified to me that the rep did say $39.99/ month, no contract and $20 connection fee. On the other hand, they said I have to pay $49.99/ month no contract and still have to pay a $50 connection fee. I desired a full refund or a partial refund for their mistake but they refused. I am stuck paying over $75 in charges plus I have to pay connection fee to a different phone company for switching.
How can a company have recorded proof of a bold-faced lie and STILL NOT HONOR IT. Don't they have to be liable for their reps mistake? Why do I have to pay for their mistake!
