I ordered a power juicer from shoppershalt.com which was never shipped. I've tried contacting the company by the phone number listed on my reciept, but the number is disconnected. The phone number listed on the website takes you to a voice mail for a different number than the one you dialed.in a last attempt, I tried to contact the company through the live chat advertised on the website. This takes you to something similar to an Instant Messenger chat room... Very unprofessional!
I did speak with someone via the "live chat". The person "Nadine" claims that my order was not in stock and that I was notified of this problem and my credit card was never charged.
This is however not true! My credit card was charged for the full price of the item, and no communication was ever recieved from this company regarding the alleged "out of stock" item!
This company uses google checkout to collect payment information. My google checkout account shows that the order was recieved by the company and that payment was also recieved, so when I explained all of this to "Nadine" she insisted that she would need some time to check out the problem and get back to me via email. Well, of course that hasn't happened!
I'm advising other shoppers to stay away from this website! It may look legitimate, but I truly believe that these people are scam artists! Beware!!
