I fell for the free offer for payment of $1.95 shipping charges and recieved a jump rope and a small packet of useless tablets/capsules. I noticed when credit card bill arrived an additional charge for $29.99 and was trying to figure this out.
After remembering the jump rope and finding the box it came in, I tried to call the company. I have never recieved any other contact other than the jumprope in the mail, no E mail, snail mail, nothing. The young lady (Ashley) i spoke with was not helpful. Refusing to admit they were billing without my authorization, however they had on record that I had reported they were automatically charging the express postal charges unless I specifically clicked off that box. The manager? (Sonja) said they would change that and i was billed the $1.95. I should have realized what was going to happen but did not expect any additional charges from them.
Now I have researched the various names this scam company goes under and see they have been doing this for over 2 years under various names. I intend to carry this through and report to the N Dakota Attorney General Consumer affairs. My credit card company has been advised and will follow through the usual process to refund my money.
