I didn't want their ebook, they obviously wanted my money

Saw the following on my bank statement:
5942 www.SMARTEMARKET LA 337-935-0141 US beside it was a charge for $4.95
I went to their website and apparently this "company" sells e-books on how to do things like, eat corn on the cob and build remote control hamster wheels. Things that no one would ever be interested in buying, but allows this them to scam people and appear to be legitimate. I assume that since the charges are so small they can do this over and over and a percentage of people will just cancel their cards and not go through the hassle of trying to remove the charge.

I called their number and all you get is an answering machine that apologizes they cant take my call but asks me to leave a message. Of course they never call you back. I'm not sure how they got my card number and don't know if they will solicit it so I canceled my card tonight and will be calling my bank in the morning to remove this charge.
