I have been charged against my debit card since March amounts appearing as epoch.com. I stupidly did not notice it until today. Apparently, epoch.com is a billing processor, and can be used by frauds if they have your credit card number to bill things. My card number must have been stolen by someone when I was in Italy last March, and they have been using it (laundering the charges through epoch.com) to pay for internet porn website access. The customer service at epoch.com were very useful, had the computer ID and email address of the "thief" - but I am surprised it is this easy to accomplish. Beware, and check your statements more carefully than I have.
