Misrepresented service (guaranteed it is better than it is...)

I signed up for their Platinum Plan of internet service (by satalite) which is provided by WildBlue. On their web page (please see: http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/our_products/internet_access/high_speed/satellite_internet/index. Shtml) it says that the upload speed is 256kbps. The very fastest I have ever seen it is 130kbps. Usually it ranges between 17 - 75kbps although it does sometimes stay around 120 for a day or so.

I have called their tech support quite a few times and been told that a report would be sent to WildBlue to fix it. Then I call back in a few days and they say no report was ever sent and they can't explain why. They always say someone will get back to me in 48 hours or 72 hours or whatever but no one ever gets back to me.

I was told that I would receive a discuont since the service doesn't work correctly. They instead charged my card the full amount and now say their is no record of a discount offered.in fact such an offer was made several times. When I tried to discuss that with someone in their finance office they just kept changing the subject and then transfered me to someone who had nothing to do with finance.

I have filed a Better Business Bureau Complaint. The company has not responded to them at all.
