Im calling this one persons computer virus story or how i got infected. My computer keeps getting frozen by annoying incessant popups which "alert" me that i need to pay for their Virus removal services, my computer remains frozen until I take the time to close the difficult popups and the website they hyjack me to, they also start a SPYING scan of my computer every time I boot up, or leave it unattended, this unauthorised scan is very difficult to stop, the scan results in a huge list of worms viruses spyware infections, etc then hyjacks me right to this virusray website telling me that i must pay them to remove THEIR crap. I have researched *and learned that virusray is the virus AND THE ONES WHO INSTALLED IT, THEY EVEN DID A SYSTEM RESTORE on my computer TO MAKE ROOM FOR THEIR UNAUTHORISED INSTALLATION. Can anyone help me be rid of it, for free, many so called antivirus companies have given me a free scan but want to charge me for the actual removal* AND A MEMBERSHIP. Which seems like another scam, victimising the victim a second time! I GUESS COMPUTER VIRUSES HAVE BECOME THE NEXT BIG INTERNET SCAM BUSINESS also i read that these trojans are extremely difficult to remove and many of the companys which take your money arent successful at removing them at all. These should be required to give us a moneyback guarantee if they cant remove all of the crap, including an advertising tool bar that was installed, security (7.1), at the top of my existing tool bar, all on the same night without my knowledge or permission. My computer is NOW slooow it even NOW crashes unexpetadely and shuts down with NO warning, windows is now shutting me down suddenly as well with computer error reports, AND TELLING ME TO BUY Windows PROTECTION! Everyone knows shutting down improperly is damaging to ones computer. I think MANY computer companies LOVE these spyware viruses. I CAN SAY THAT i was downloading from a spammers email link on my hotmail account when it all started, the link was to greedygiveaways.com, sent to me by a spammer called davidgale audio secrets or something of that nature, im writing this to warn others and to BEG for someones FREE help like a free removal promo or one with a money back guarantee, even if you just advise this rookie on how to easily remove it you will be helping others as well, this is a new virus started in and if not stopped is going to become very prevelant in my opinion, dont think it wont happen to you cause this virus was just created recently ITS VERY NEW BUT IT WILL FIND YOU TOO EVENTUALLY, MAYBE HERE IS ONE WAY TO SHUT VIRUSRAY DOWN, if everyone complains to netscape, aol (i THINK THEY HOST VIRUS RAY OR SOMETHING AS I was continually directed to them as well during this ordeal,) and other authorities who can stop and shut down virusrays website, then do it because yOUre next, I have a 2 thousand dollar computer and i dont even recognise it, anymore, how would you like someone to infiltrate, change, reformatt your entire hard drive suddenly and without your permission, well its coming to you as well so we had all better start doing something about it. A Las vegas Nevada, business owner *a great site called ewido.com did a free scan and removed many of the viruses except for the ad ware and hyjacking website called Virusray.com. Hardly any of the other many scans removed a thing, my system restore and uninstall has no affect whatsoever.*My research included googling the keywords virusray removal, how to remove virusray etc
