On 9-21 I ordered a halloween item from Halloween costumes 4 u over the internet. When my order was complete I printed the invoice page as well as other info on form. Costume was suppose to arrive in 5 working days. They stated on order form I would receive an e-mail regarding order.
I never received an e-mail. Every week I would check e-mail and track order but couldn't find out anything about costume, except order was received and pending shipment.
I even faxed them three letters in a 3 week period regarding order as halloween was getting closer and closer and wanted costume here before halloween of course. It was for my granddaughter.
I Would never get any responds from them. I gave them my e-mail which was on letter and order form as well as my home phone and still nothing.
Finally i was able to track order and this one stated it was cancelled on 9-21. Funny because that was the day I ordered it. I also checked tracking order and none of them said order canceled until 10-19-07.
The others always stated order received and is pending shipment. I was angry because i never heard anything from them and feel this is no way to run a business. Now I have no time to order another costume and stores are almost picked out.
If they had notified me sooner I could have found another company to order one.
They however state that your credit card is not billed until shipment is ready to ship. I haven't as of yet been billed, However it also states that when an order is canceled you are charged a 15% cancellation fee. I did not cancel this order and if i am charged this 15% fee on my next statement what do i do? There is no number to contact them regarding this only a fax...
