Placed an order via this website for some designer labeled clothing for teen-aged son. Shortly thereafter (day or two) I receive a strange email requesting copies an government I.D. Such as a passport, requesting copies of my Visa bank card (front and back) with home address. I replied back to the email requesting validation as it had no identifying information nor any fax information to submit this information. I immediately became suspicious and went to a website I had never ordered from before. It didn't appear to be from there as I said no identifying information in the email. The request was made again and I refused to provide the information. Well come to find out the email was from that internet site. I requested a telephone/fax number from them but to no avail. The return email said "we do not place orders over the telephone". They ask me for all of this information yet they do not have a contact/fax number to send to. I became suspicious and went back to the site only to find there was no telephone contact info nor a physical address I could write to. Mind you they have already charged my CC $259.72 A few days go by and I inquire about the order, with the response that it will ship that day. I ask for a tracking number, they replied it will be available within 48hrs, well I let 6 days pass no tracking number. I immediately phoned my CC company to have these charges reversed as the last and most recent email I sent to the company went unanswered. It wasn't until I told them that I had contacted my bank and a consumer reporting site that they responded. The response being "a refund is being processed". Use extreme caution with this site. The site name that appeared to my CC company was NOT the same as the site name I ordered from, and the site it was listed under did not exist. My CC company went on the site we were on the telephone and right away they said "this does not look good", and they were right. Fortunately I will be granted a conditional charge back until the investigation is over which I'm sure will come out in my favor. Come to find out the site is selling fake designer labels, I was able to purchase authentic products via an authentic site.
