Popcorn.net - Pacificon International - Alchemy Communications Dazed conned P_off! Repercutions still after two years the snowball effect! Ripoff

I too was a victim of the movieland scam back in their begining days of 2005. I cannot truthfully say whether I actually downloaded their free three day trial or not, I was quit active on the internet at that time. When there popup appeared on my computer I became very irritated with it, tried everything to get rid off it. I finally gave up after a couple of months and paid them for a thirty day subscription using my checking account with (US Bank) (another horror story), the popups stopped but then I found I could not access any services I had paid for, I tried to contact their customer service E-mail address, their web page, their ph.# (900), could not connect with anyone. I then tried to cancel the subscription before the thirty days ran out, no way.

Now I know its a scam, scheme, con, etc. So I call my bank (fraud Dept.) to report this and tell them I'm not authorizing further payment to this company. They tell me there is nothing they can do about it since I authorized payment by not cancelling. I was advised by one of US Banks idiots that my only recourse was to deplete my account so that there were not enough funds available. I did this and the bank denied movieland payment twice, but the third time it was submitted someone decided to pay it and then debit me with an overdraft. I tried to close the account and was told the only way I could do that was to pay the overdraft charges etc., I threw them my debit card and walked out. I went home and threw out my computer. Now two years later I tried to open another bank account and I find out that US Bank has turned me int checksum, saying I now owe them some $388 dollars and change. I can't open a bank account again for seven years unless I pay them this amount, all steming from movieland.com.

I am attemting to rectify this situation but am running into another scam team, the US Bank. I've only begun the fight, I refuse to pay this and won't. Now I have to work backward through the bank and then movieland.com.
