Twice I have been charged for amounts I have no recollection of spending. It all started with a chance to win a 250 shopping voucer through Ebay. You had to enter various offers, which I declined and I soon clicked to get out.
Imagine my surprise when I saw two charges a month or so later, on my bankstatement. They were from Dr*Auctionmonster for USD 5.58 which was 2.87 and another one for USD67.56 which was 34.55. The latter was dated 4 July and the previous amount was dated24 June. It is now 18 July.
I shall contact my bank and try to stop this from happening again. I always advocate it is safe to do business over the internet. Not any more, I shall also not do any business through Ebay until I get a response from them as well.
