The charged my account $54.95, by using a check. I did not authorize this, i could not get a hold of anyone

They charged my account $54.95 usng a check number 999. I tried to get a refund from them, but it is impossible. I called the phone number, and i could not get a real person to talk to. It was all automatied. Please i need help. I called the bank and they said that they have gotten many of these same complanits.
