I purchased, last June 11 (layaway) a computer from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse.
One week ago today the computer died. I called Sweepstakes today and the representative told me my warranty expire June 11 (two months ago). I inquired why wasn't I given the option to extend the warranty or have been told that the warranty was about to expire, his reply was the manufacturer does not extend warranties. I asked several questions about the model and make of the computer and was rudely told to take it to my local computer person.
This is not a good way of doing business. I now have a computer that is one year old and dead.
Where do you purchase this stuff? Are they seconds?
