I am seeking a refund of my $1,300.00 dollars, damages for FRAUD and other damages as allowed by law. I pray that there is someone that will not let her get away with this and hope that Diane Lindner from www.danddcockersandchis.com doesn't do this to another person.
The only and sole reason I bought the dog from Diane Lindner is because she represented having experience in being an expert in the show cocker spaniel field. She represented that this dog she sold me was show quality and had the temperament and conformation to compete against AKC Champions. I would have never knowingly spent $1,300.00 dollars for a pet. If I wanted a pet I would have gone to the local SPCA. This dog was to serve as my distraction from a very stressful job.
The dog bit me as soon as I opened the crate at the airport when I picked him up. The dog nipped at a professional handler who said he was not up to AKC standard and that he was not show quality. A 2nd professional cocker spaniel handler went over him and said that it was her professional opinion that this dog was not show quality. Diane agreed to refund my money if I sent the dog back to her and if he was healthy. She said this to me and to another person in writing. She received the dog over a month ago and she still has the dog and the money. She is making an excuse that I didn't send her back the AKC papers that I did send her in the same manner as she sent them to me attached to the crate. She wants to keep my $1,300.00 dollars. I've spoken to many ethical dog breeders and they said that only the breeder can get replacement papers for this dog since I didn't register him under my name. She is a very nasty person and extremely unprofessional.
I feel sorry for the dog. It's not his fault. I had him for 3 weeks. The first week I didn't even go to work. I took him with me every where and slept next to him to try to get him to adjust but to no avail. He tried to bite the vet tech and the vet.
It is unbelievable what this person will do to keep this money and the dog.
If anyone wants to purchase a quality cocker spaniel dog, show dog I recommend you do not purchase from the internet. Go to a dog show, get to meet the handlers and let them guide you to the best breeder in nearest you.
Diane shouldn't be selling any dogs. This is also being reported to the IRS, the Attorney General, State Tax Office and the SPCA.
I called AKC and they told me that I can't file for duplicate registration papers for the dog because I didn't register him. I keep telling Diane that and she doesn't listen.
