To All Concerned:
In Feb I purchased a Sony Vaio, brand new.in Nov the dvd player in it stops reading dvd movies so I call the warranty company and they refer me to Cyber Test Inc. I send my laptop to Cyber Test Inc. To get the dvd drive fixed because it was not reading dvd's. Other than that everthing worked fine on it, it read the audio cd's that I would put in also the games, the one and only problem was that it wouldn't read a dvd.

So I send my laptop off the first time to them and two days later they call me and tell me that my laptop was working fine and there was no problems with the dvd drive, I tell them that they can send it back to me if they were sure that it worked. Two days later I receive my laptop back from cyber Test Inc. I setup the laptop and put in a dvd and to my dismay, the dvd drive still does not work.

I called Cyber Test back and tell them that the drive still does not work and they in turn refer me to my warranty company, saying that I had to get a new work order number and have it sent back to them. I told the rep that if it was fixed right the first time that I would not have to send it back. So then I contact my warranty company and tell them I need a new work order number so I can send my laptop back to Cyber Test, of course after questioning from them they finally gave me a new number and sent me the box to send my laptop to Cyber Test.

After sending the laptop back to Cyber Test I made weekly calls checking the status of the repair. After telling me each week that they are promising me a different date than the one from before, it comes down to having to replace the motherboard of the laptop. I questioned them as to why they had to replace the motherboard if it was just the dvd drive and I was given several different excuses.

Three months after Cyber Test has had my laptop I yet call again to check the status. At this time I am told that they cannot find the replacement motherboard for my laptop and that since they cannot repair it that they had disgarded my laptop and I needed to contact my warranty company to have a replacement laptop sent to me.

At this point I am furious and asked why I was not contacted about the status of my computer and what gives them the right to disgard and item that I paid for. I was never contacted in this matter and now I am stuck without a laptop. What gives this company the right to take advantage and not even contact the customer in regards to their equipment.
