In the past, I used to receive rebates from OnRebate, though it always took a long time.in the last year or so, however, I have not received 2 rebates for a total of $64. One of them had been "accepted" on 12/6, the other on 7/28.
On 12/27, I contacted OnRebate about this problem. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, I spoke with a customer service person who checked the status of my rebates and told me they had tried to pay them to PayPal, but they had not been accepted. I never received notification from PayPal that any attempted payment had been made.
I made sure he had the correct email address to pay my PayPal account, and he assured me that the rebates would be "re-issued" in 21 days. That was 47 days ago, and I have heard nor received NOTHING!
I used to purchase a lot of items from Tiger Direct that offered rebates through OnRebate. From now on, I will only buy from TigerDirect if the rebate is offered through the manufacturer. OnRebate is a RIP-OFF!!!
