Digital Super Deals' website indicated that the camera that I was seeking to purchase was in stock. I ordered the camera and received a confirmation email.
The next day, I received a call from one of their salesman (718-943-3750), but I did not answer the phone. Later, I checked my email and noticed that I had received three emails from one of their salesman. Each email indicated that I was required to contact their 800-number (800-958-0054) in order to complete the order.
I called the 800-number and the salesman was very pushy and told me that I needed to purchase extra memory and an extra battery for the camera in order for it to work properly. After I declined to purchase the accessories, the salesman ended our conversation.
The next day, I received an email from [email protected], and I was advised that the camera was no longer in stock and that my order had been canceled. It's all too obvious that this order was canceled due to the fact that I refused to purchase their overpriced accessories.
This is my complaint, and I just wanted to make sure that everyone steered clear of this rip-off and deceptive website.
