I bought the PRINTSHOP PRO Publisher Deluxe 21, advertised with a rebate of $20.00. I sent every item requested and during the dates they asked. I got an e-mail saying the rebate was received and had a tracking number. I checked the tracking number and it said: INVALID, Invalid reason: INVALID UPC NUMBER.
Curiously, I checked another rebate ($30.00) tracking number I have from a Logitech Keyboard I bought at Staples months ago. It was the same company, Encore Rebates, and it was the same status: INVALID, Invalid Reason: INVALID UPC NUMBER. Fortunately I had not opened the keyboard and was able to return it.
At this moment the Printshop 21 $20.00 rebate is still advertised all over the internet, including Amazon, with a deadline of 3/31/07
In either case I did not do anything wrong. I thought I had learned my lesson the first time.
