ThinkAll.com Charged me for "free" CDs

My case is similar to at least one other that I've seen on this site.

I requested 4 free CDs from Think All, with me only having to pay $2.96 in shipping & handling. Lo and behold, I get my bank statement last week, and I see a charge for $49.90 from Think All! (I did receive the CDs, by the way).

I checked the confirmation email they sent me, and nowhere did it indicate these charges. So I emailed the customer service address listed, advising them that this was obviously a mistake, and that if I didn't receive notice from them and/or a credit within 48 hours I would start the dispute process.

Of course I did not hear from them (going on 72 hours), so as of today I am implementing the following strategies (they don't know who they are messing with):

1. Contacted my bank to dispute the charges (thereby receiving temporary credit while it is reviewed)
2. Creating a usacomplaints.com
3. Will file complaint with the BBB (sometimes helps)

If none of these work, I will contact my local Department of Consumer Affairs. Usually, they are part of the State Attorney General's office. I will also contact the FTC (Fair Trade Commission) and file a report with them, at
www.ftc. Gov/bcp/conline/pubs/credit/feb.htm

$49.90 will not financially ruin me, but the underhanded way this company tried to charge me is wrong, and I plan to have this situation rectified.
