Refusing my rebate, giving me contradicting information, Ripoff

I sent in a $30 rebate to TigerDirect in mid December. They reported to me (via email) that they (TigerDirect) received the rebate in mid January. I was informed via email that I did not send-in a UPC code, a required item. I have plenty of experience with rebates, and I send-in on average some 15-20 rebates per year. I do not make such mistakes. I called them and was informed that I can submit a copy of the UPC (I make copies of materials I send in). I called them few days later to confirm their shipping address, one where I would be mailing the copy of the UPC, and this time I was informed that they do not accept copies (contradicting the information I received when I called them the first time) I was asked my claim ID, but when I started giving it, the support person on the phone interrupted me and informed me that it would take a week to find my information (a week?). When I asked how can I find out my status in a week (call them? Email them? Will they call me?) the tech support person told me she had no idea!? No idea?! Need I say more? I want my $30.
