I had ordered a computer online and was informed of the $99.00 intial cost and the weekly payments of $36.00 which were to be deducted automaticly from my account which was ok I agreed and gave them card #'s account #'s
I was told that after the $99.00 was recieved it would take 3 to 5 business days before it would arrive at my address.
After I placed my order a few days later I was layed off from work, I had called Blue Hippo up to cancel the order, but because of the holidays I couldn't reach anyone until the 2nd of Jan. The recording said.
So I got online, logged in selected contact us and got to the page to e-mail customer service and explained about being laid-off and that I had to cancel my order that was done early morning of the 2nd between 2:00am and 4:00am.
I went to my bank the morning of the 9th and was informed of an overdraft and charges, I requested a printout of my account and discovered $99.00 was withdrawn by Blue Hippo Friday the 12/29/06 and on the 5th a $36.00 payment request was sumitted by them after I had already canceled, in writting, 3 days after. My bank charged me an overdraft fee, plus a negitive balance fee plus a returned check fee. And here it is the 10th and still nothing has arrived. Which is good I don't wnat nothing.
I have tried to get back in touch with Blue Hippo online But now there is no record of me even having an account I can't login to get to customer service. I only have 2 e-mail addresses and they both have the same password so its not me being incorrect with logging in I am being blocked by"No record of user ID or password on record" with either address.
Being now out of work I just would like the money Blue Hippo straight up took from me I canceled "in writting" before anything was shipped before any payment was refused.
