Mr. Arturo Guzman, the gentleman who enrolled me for the course misrepresented the schedule from the beginning stating verbally and in writing that the course was for Monday, Wednesday and Friday. When I showed up to the first day of class is when I found out that they had conveniently changed the schedule to Monday thru Thursday. I have it on the enrollment agreement. My copy of the enrollment agreement does not have my initials or signature on it though the acceptance of the student loan does.
Fast Train is conveniently calculating and stating that I completed more than 40% of the course. I only took the first 2 of 6 classes. All 6 classes cost $8,000.00. I bit my lip and went Monday through Thursday though I singed up for Monday, Wednesday Classes. It is easy for them to site their policy because they have the full $8,000 from the 3rd party Lender SLM Financial and they simply do not want to send the money back to them.
The reason for my cancellation was for the birth of my child and the fact that we are relocating to a San Antonio, Texas.
SLM financial paid Fast Train $8,000.00 which in turn I am responsible to pay back To SLM not Fast Train.
I am willing to pay 50% of the debt and would expect Fast Train to pay back the other 50% to SLM financial. There is absolutely no good reason for them to keep $4000.00 for 4 courses that were never taken and books that were never received. What Fast Train is doing is keeping third party lender monies and making students pay back the full amount siting their cancellation policy.
I can have copies of the enrollment agreement showing the original schedule I paid for with Arturo Guzman's signature on it.
I have yet to receive the Copy of the enrollment agreement that Fast Train has on file. I suspect that copy does not have my signatures on it either as I have not yet received it after requesting it more than once.
