Beware of this guy...
Kevin Holley, owner of Matrix IT Solutions, LLC, advertised on Craig's List 8/10/06 that he was looking for sales reps to sell laptop computers for him on eBay.
Here is the posting:
First off i will let u know that this isnt a full-time job, but we designed the position to not be. What we provide as a company is the strength to buy top of the line technology products to our ebay salesmen. What u would do as a potential salesmen is list the products. And its been proven that when u list our items u will get attention from buyers. Our avarage seller makes
3 sales per listing. That comes from the winner of the auction, and the 2-3 buyers that will contact u to buy the product through other means outside of ebay. Heres a example of a normal salesmen situation
Dell Computer (costs us 700 to buy) retail is $1700 Customers bid on ebay and it closes for 1600 (normal ending price) From that 1600 that the customer sends to u, U would send, the wholesale price and 50% of the profit to us. And u would be paid right off the top
before u even send anything to us $450.00 for that item. And 1150 would be sent to us. And if u consider that u would be doing 2-3 deals on a single item u will make substantial money right away. Add to that we are a New
Jersey company and the owner is only a phone call away 24 hours a day he is there for his customer service people. On avarage our customer service people make 1200 a week on the lower end and we are growing
rapidly, And looking for customer service people who have active upstanding ebay accounts, and can create top shelf listings, if u have the experience we can provide the products to make u money
I responded and soon after began to sell/list his computers through my eBay account. I sold 4 Laptops to 4 different customers Totaling in the amount of over $4,000.00. I received payments through my pay pal account and as a result of NO Shipment or Refunds my pay pal account is negative and frozen. Not to mention my EBay reputation feedback is horrible because my customers were scammed out of their hard earned money. He never shipped the Laptops to my customers nor has he sent refunds.
I mailed him a check from my personal account so he could ship the items out and he cashed it on 8/25/06 and never sent anything, now 3 months later and I have not gotten the funds back. I have communicated with him several times through emails, phone, text and he keeps putting it off (lies after lies). Says he will refund me but still has not followed through.
Be careful he will take your money and run.
