Ebay is one of the biggest scams! Everyone told me to use ebay to sell items to make money, but in the end I owe them over $200 while I only made around $75! They allow all of your seller fees to pile up and bill you once a month.
I never even received an invoice, and they claim you will get one 10 days before they deduct any money. They offer no support. Conveniently they don't even have a phone number, only emaill and "live chat" all they could tell me is "you used our service" repeatedly.
I never recall setting up automatic deduction through paypal either, they just set it up based on which method you use to pay when shopping on ebay. Also, they seem to keep seller fees and invoices hidden. You have to dig to find it, and they scam you by making it look cheap to re-list an item-it's not! 60 here and there really adds up!
My advice is this: use ebay only to purchase items (unless of course they scam you there too, which I didn't have a problem with buying) Only use ebay to sell a large item with a high value, only list it once. If you don't sell it after the first two listing, DON'T BOTHER! Ebay needs to stopped, they only make money for themselves!!!
