Aka Myseoguidenet Money taken w/o Authorization Is called Stealing!

Yesterday was the first I was aware of any deductions taken from my account. I first called the bank to find out what was going on. I was referred to call both Fast Auction Profit and the Myseoguidenet which they both have the same number 866-652-0479. I called and spoke with a guy who tried to explain to me that I had purchased a cd on ebay that had terms and conditions, so in repsonse I told him, I had neither purchased his damn cd nor did I authorize any deductions to be deducted from my bank account.

He advised that I needed to fax a copy of my bank statement (imagine that! More numbers for them) along with a statement requesting that my money be refunded to fax number 435-652-0482 and reference my cancellation code LN 170246. I advised him that it's kind of hard to cancel something you did not sign up for. I asked him how long till my refund would be credited to my account. At this time I was only aware of 2 $49.95 and 1 $9.95. I did as I was advised. I typed up a letter requesting my money to be refunded and attached my account statement with two of the deductions circled on the statement. The third I advised in the letter that the second $49.95 the bank had notified me of when I had previously phoned them.

The gentleman let me know that after they received my fax I needed to wait on an email to acknowledge my "account" had been closed. Once I received the email, he advised it would be 3-5 business days for my money to be credited back.

Well later last night I sure enough received that email, however it stated that "a refund for the two most recent charges which are $49.95 and $9.95. This is as far back as we can go for your refund. Your account has been cancelled so there will be no further charges. The refund may take up to 10 business days to show back on your card." On that, let me clarify I have no credit CARDS what so ever! Makes you wonder how they exactly got my straight checking account only information. Anyways she continued to explain all about the Terms of Service. Well, personally I'm glad she is aware of such and it probably keeps her boss happy, but when I have not ordered nor received the damn cd they keep referring to, the Terms of Service have nothing at all to do with me.

In response to her well thought out email I responded very nicely which frankly I'm not a very nice person, I've learned nice gets you no where! But I wanted her to note that she had missed the deduction on Nov. 10, for another $49.95. I also had gave her the bank's phone number if she needed to verify such being that since it is only now Nov. 15, the monthly statement has not yet been printed and mailed out for the month of November. It takes a lot of common sense to figure that one out.

Later, I received yet another reply from Veronica that stated "On your statement it was only for October charges. I also stated that I could only refund $49.95 and $9.95. This all that we can do." Well, I didn't like that response either so I once again replied and advised her that I would contact the bank myself and have them fax a print out for me to the fax number I was given earlier. I also went on to explain why I did not have a copy of my November statement being that it is only the middle of the month.in the meantime I was still digging up more paperwork and found the $1.97 charge deducted from my account on the 16th of September. I advised this so called Veronica of the charge in September and that being nothing was authorized even if her company had to refund my money in two amounts the full amount would be returned or I would seek further action.

Needless to say I did not receive another reply until almost 8'oclock this morning. My reply was "The refund that was issued to you is more than what our company is require to give you. Seeing as the charges are monthly fees and they were agreed to when your credit card information was put in. If a dispute is place there will be no refund. We do win charge backs and thus you will receive none of the money back."

Like I said earlier I'm not a nice person, I have been taught to bite my tounge when needed, so I have replied to her stupid response yet. However, I'm sure she's probably sitting back glotting thinking she has gotten the last word. However while she does her glotting I have advised my lawyer of this matter, have obtained all three months bank statements, revised my request letter for my money which all will be faxed in first thing in the morning. My bank today was notified to file any and all papers for a dispute. And for Veronica's sake, Fast Auction Profit's sake, they need to pray that I don't decide on a road trip because within quite a few hours Utah would be in site. Then the tracking down and ass kicking would be a blast. People that know me, including my boss who would excuse me from work, all know all too well that it can and will be done if necessary! I work hard every damn day and have three kids to support, propably just like the other people's stories I was reading on here. But to actually take that money with no authorization, to me is down right stolen. And although I have not seen the damn "CD" From the stories of those who have, personally I think they might need to invest in some public speaking and/or English cd's for their own survial.
