Alright, I'm to blame. Though, I may get lucky or not on this one. I have been shopping for a Nikon D200 kit for myself. I new the prices seemed to good to be true, though I didn't answer that knocking in my skull until after I placed my order. I did a basic search for any problems. I clicked on one of the rating sites and got a hundred or so very satisfied ratings. I found another one with 1410 ratings of excellent or better. Are these possibly posted by themselves, my intuition says, "yes".

Anyway, I ordered the camera and the next day I received a call from "Ken" who asked me to confirm the order and then asked if I wouldn't prefer two upgraded lenses, CF card, filter etc. Now the price had jumped from the original $1162 (very low price) to $2219.00. Let me tell you, with the exception of his deception, Ken would make me millions. This guy was the typical fast talking sales, bait and switch guy your parents told you to stay away from. I hadn't really been paying attention to the whole conversation (my fault) I told him to go ahead and get it done.

Later that night I became concerned and did further research. I have found THOUSANDS, not hundreds, THOUSANDS of poor reports on this company and the other six Camera Sales companies that are connected to this J & K Enterprises.

Well, I called the credit card company and explained the situation to them. The first two reps from MC told me all I could do is wait and see. That didn't satisfy me. The third call to MC the Rep told me it appeared J & K only got authorization (seeing if the card was valid. The next hit on the account from them was denied because I had already cancelled the card. So, I sit with knots in my stomach awaiting the final outcome to my dilemma. With any luck I will walk from this with a lower CC balance and lesson learned. Without the luck, I'll need to go through the whole dispute process.

Additionally, I called the company about 15 times. Each time being put on hold. One of them I left a message on Ken's extension 283. I actually spoke to him that day, I explained my concerns based upon the nasty reviews his company has. He told me not to worry. I asked for my tracking number and a final bill to be emailed to me. Two days have passed and about 25 emails. No reply.

When I was on the phone I asked "ken" where he worked, He didn't know the address. The last time I called to leave a message at his extension the name was now Mark on the voice mail.interesting, Very Interesting.

Buyer Beware. Use your noggin'. BTW, The list of company addresses is lengthy.
