Back somewhere in September, I was just browsing around the web and ran across this site called 10xPay.com. I read what it had to say about how you could make 10 times your investment by just buying shares up to a limit of P00 and a minimum of 1 share for $50.00. It also listed a dozen or so places that they would accept payment from. (i.E. Pay Pal, Echeck, etc)
I was game to try it out just to see what this was all about, after reading all of their testimonials and there were quite a few happy campers out there. However, they were all stating what a great site this was and how they submitted their money for their shares (example) say 10 minutes ago and were already getting back more than their investment an hour later. Well, I couldn't imagine this happening so fast, so I bought 1 share.
Paid through Pay Pal, and about 2 hours later, went back to the site to check on my payback and found that I had only earned $6.00 since I bought my share.
Oh, did I mention that you actually are buying software for your computer and to resell as they give you the rights to resell for free, or so they state on their homepage. These you must download to your computer (who knows if they are full of spyware, adware or viruses) but there are about 5 to 10 of them.
I downloaded the software which took me almost 1 hour, then being curious, I went back to see how I was doing. Needless to say, I had no more money in there than I had before.
The next morning, I looked again and found that I had around $60.00 after having purchased another share the night before.
Lets see now my investment so far is $100.00 and my return on my investment so far is $66.00. Not what I thought it was supposed to be.
Ok, now I have waited for nearly 2 weeks and went back to the site. (actually I almost forgot about it) I checked to see how I was doing and my returns had now come to $75.00 total. I guessed I had done something wrong. So, I emailed their support email address and asked if I had done something wrong or not done something I should have. To my surprise, I never got a return email or anykind of an answer. So, I sent another one and another one and another one.By now I was frustrated, not getting any kind of response at all from these people. I was mad enough to go back to Pay Pal to see if I could get somekind of a refund or at least CASHOUT what I had in there already.
I sent an email to my sponsors email address asking for my entire funded and returned amount to be remitted to my Pay Pal account, this being on the 9th of October. My request was also sent by Pay Pal requesting the payment as well. On Oct 23, I send a reminder by Pay Pal to the email address of the sponsor I signed up with. To this day I have not ever received a response from my sponsor, 10XPay.com, nor have I even heard from PayPal about my request and I understand I can't even file a dispute with PayPal due to their policy of not disputing a non-tangible item such as a service, even if you did not receive what you purchased.
Come to think of it, I never even got confirmation or copies of either of the shares I purchased. Just a tally of what I had purchased by a mathmatical equasion.
Today, 10/26, I tried to get into my account once more to see if there had been any change in the amount received from my shares. To my even bigger surprise, my user name and password did not work. I tried it several times and nothing. I even tried to use their "forgot my password" option with the email address I signed up with and the error message I received was "this email addresss is not on our database"."try again"
The only thing I have ever been able to do was to purchase the shares, and email them to no avail. I did so again today before coming to complaint to complain. So, there you have it. I was suckered in by testimonials. You would think that they would have to be real to be used to verify or RAVE about a product. However, I guess in this case that is NOT the case.
I would welcome a call from a Legal Eagle on this one. I am ready to sue these people and I don't mean maybe.
